It’s also worth mentioning that while it’s a good idea not to be too expensive or too cheap, it’s also important not to undercut yourself as well as continue growing in terms of experience and skill. It took me 12+ years of freelancing to have such speed of work which enabled me to get the work done in a fastest way. The rest is communication and client’s handling. Forget about short cuts and do everything yourself instead of outsourcing part of it or compromising on quality or forgetting about your long term goals altogether. You can accomplish a lot more than you think today (if you do not let someone else run your business).

There are several reasons why doing this can be so profitable:

• Hire out only those people who cannot do it themselves, because they are too lazy or too busy. Relying on other people to do what they cannot will always lead to low quality work (if they are not lazy, that is). In my case, I am totally capable but I would rather hire professionals because they are more motivated and take pride in their work (I am self-motivated, so I guess that is why).

• You have time for things you love as much as you love writing code. Let us never forget that all of us spend most of our time doing something we don’t like — talking to clients via email, making client presentations, etc. You might be the only person who can make them happy; if so, make sure that you do it well enough for them to want to keep working with you again.

• You can charge less money than someone else does; this leads many people into thinking that charging less means being a poor freelancer as we already mentioned before (and yes, it does). However, this is only half true; charging less means being able to focus on your passion without having any distractions from money worries: everything outside of coding becomes “not important” — whether it is selling your products or marketing them in any way whatsoever. It also means being able to focus fully on what matters most: the client’s needs / problems / desires (as opposed to needing “everything”), which ought not only be focused but also consistently met so that they grow
